Although Susana Carvalhinhos was born in Lisbon, it was abroad that she began illustrating. Japan, Switzerland and Brazil are some of the countries where she has worked with. Besides being an illustrator, she also works in comics and tilework. She has collaborated with the Museum of Marionettes, Pato Lógico, Diário de Notícias, Time Out, Conserveira de Lisboa, Winged Wheel, Paez, among others.
